IMPORTANT!!! please read!

Just letting everyone know that this Friday the meeting will not be at our usual spot! As I was unaware that we could reserve lobbies, we have been taken over, by a drag show. Yes, a drag show. So here is what we are going to do; were going to meet at the same time but instead we will meet at the top floor of the student union. Since we are playing card games this friday space shouldn't be an issue. Which reminds me, I should explain this Fridays meeting again.

THIS FRIDAY! We are playing card games, and nothing but card games! Bring your CCGs, TCGs, and LCGs! Dominion should be there this Friday. We will play it on a First Come, First Serve basis. John, being the Secretary of Games will teach the game. I will also be playing first, so that I can teach the game to everyone else. Everything past that is up for grabs, There are no "dibs".

I am going to bring Yu-gi-oh(everyone who wants to play needs to be updated with the current banned list), DBZ, Pokemon, and the WoW card game. Lots of people plan to bring Magic as well. So if you play any of those games, bring your decks!

Also, I spoke with Shane and he informed me that if we produce Club Cards, we can get a discount at Comic Book World. I will speak to my father, I think he has a way of doing that. But if he does not, does anyone have an efficient way of making plastic cards? I want plastic so that it seems more official. But if that really doesn't work out, i'd be fine with laminated.

Can't wait for Friday!

Just Doing Some Catching Up...

Hello Everyone! I've been very busy with school, so I am very sorry for all the delays! In case you didn't know tonight is our "Pizza and Classic Game" Night!!! $4 per person for as much pizza as we can afford! I have Chinese Checkers, Stratego, Dominos, Battle Ship, and Risk with me. Bring your friends! It should be a good time!

Also, Next Friday! Its our Card Game Extravaganza! Bring any card game! I personally am going to bring A Game of Thrones, Yu-Gi-Oh, DBZ, and just a regular deck of cards. There are a lot of Magic players in the club, so I would definitely recommend bringing some Magic if you play!

One last thing! Since we are now an official club! (took long enough!) we can order our semester games now. We are ordering from The War Store, so if there is any game that you personally want to own, let me or Justin know and we'll order it for you.

Possible future Event!

As most of you know Austin Pete Wiggin (errr... "fancy pants" as he is apparently called) visited our club this Friday and last Tuesday. In case you were not aware he is the Vice President of the Otterbein Game Guild. We were talking and we thought it would be a cool idea to have a meet-up over the summer! Otterbein is about two hours up from where I live, so it would be almost 3 hours to get to NKU depending on departure time. With this in mind, meeting at a half way point would be the only sensible way of doing this. This plan is still in the planning phase (haha) so any ideas are welcome! Feel free to express opinions of approval or disapproval, just trying to see if there is an interest in doing something like this. Possibly an all weekend event?

Send me an email of what you think.

First Event of April, This Friday!!!

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been keeping everyone up to date, i've been feeling pretty under the weather and I was studying for a huge Art History test.

In case anyone didn't know, on Tuesday we decided that the month of April will be dedicated to recruiting new members! Also, on Friday the club went over to the Computer Science building. Some of the teachers run this meeting roughly once a month and they invited us to come, I'd highly recommend attending their next meeting.

In case anyone didn't know, Friday is the first Friday in April! So we need to start planning for our first event. On Tuesday i'd like to set up a game plan for Friday. I was thinking we could have open gaming with people ready to demo some games. If you have any good ideas for games we should set out, email me your suggestions!

I think thats all for now, see you Tuesday!

And so it begins.....

Tomorrow is a very important day for us, as a club, a people, as gamers. Our semester fee of $10 is due! Tuesday March 23rd will allow us to fund the war machine known as THE NORTHERN KENTUCKY TABLE TOP CLUB!!

By Fridays meeting I hope to have all the paperwork in and ready to go! After that we can make our club purchases! I personally cannot wait to play either game! If you have an issue with paying $10, then please PLEASE inform me. I don't want any surprises tomorrow!

I'll keep this short tonight, just remember to bring your money and any games that you want to play! If you want food, please get things arranged before any games are played. I will be leaving at 10pm again, so Matthew will take over all responsibilities at that point.

See you all tomorrow! (today, whatever)

Scott the rock, Chris, Tits, Mcgee wins by a nose!

Hello everyone! In case you were wondering about the title, on Friday Austin(The Vice President of the Obtterbein's Game Club) brought his club's copy Twilight Imperium! It was a close race for first in the end, with Scott just barely beating Austin! I was pretty far behind both of them, so I was nowhere near winning! It was a great time as always, if you haven't attended a Friday meeting, I highly recommend it.

Just a quick note before I get to the business , if anyone has any photography experience i'd like some pictures be taken of the members and general "action shots". I would like to be able to start forming a strong identity for the club so that we can attract new members.

On Tuesday the membership fee will be due for all current attendees, the cost will be $10. Any further money paid will be saved to purchase supplies and or another game. If you have any problems with getting the money, please PLEASE contact me.

Very Very Important!
There is a poll on the website, please pick an activity that you would like to be involved with. If there is insufficient votes to make a decision, I will decide what we will do. If you don't have a preference please select other. The month of April is rapidly approaching and the Executive Committee needs to prepare all the details for whatever we do.

I think that is all for now, if anyone has any questions reply to this email, text me, email me, and or leave a comment or send a message on facebook.

Can't wait for Tuesday!

Thanks in advance!

Report of funds

Sorry if you get this twice but the iPod messed up and is stupid.

But we can get all of dominion, shogun, and descent all for 148.92. But that would mean depleting our funds if we all contributes with a $10 fee. We could either increase the fee for supplies such as plates or some other way, possibly just a shared trip to the store, to get them. But if anyone with comments would let ke know that would be great.

Last One For Tonight, I Promise.

Sorry if you guys happen to get another blank email, I pressed a wrong button. Anyways, I know some of you are going away on a trip this weekend, but I was wondering who would want to have a meeting Friday anyway? Respond back if you have an interest. I could demo some 40k or something different!

I just ran the numbers on the two games we want. If we use thewarstore.com we would save a lot of money! If we charge the minimum then members would only have to pay about $9! But if we pay $12.5, we can afford another game! Or just stockpile the money and use it for food, supplies, paints and paint supplies for the potential escalation league, or anything we wanted really.

Send me an email ASAP letting me know what you, as the club want to do.

A great Tuesday Night Meeting!

Hello everyone! I had a great time today, and sorry for having to leave early! Someone should fill me in on what I missed!

But now that I know we have a solid number of people (11, thats amazing!) we have the power to buy whatever games we want! I will try to get all the information together for the final cost of the semester fee by Friday so we can turn all the paper work in on Monday and one Tuesday we will be official!

Justin, if you can find some prices on stuff and get some numbers for me on a final cost, I will do the same and we will compare notes.

Can't wait for Friday!
